Custom Art Commissions
2026 commissions are now open
Let’s make something bold.
Commissioning a piece should feel exciting, not overwhelming.
If you’re drawn to my work, trust your instincts, and want something made specifically for your space, you’re in the right place. I create one-of-a-kind abstract paintings for people who love colour, want their space to feel alive, and are happy to let the process unfold. This isn’t about recreating something you’ve already seen.
It’s about making something that feels right for you.
How it works
You bring the idea. I’ll take it from there.
You don’t need to know exactly what you want. Most people don’t.
Once you reach out, we’ll talk about your space, the size you’re considering, and the general feeling you’re drawn to. That might be a colour palette, a mood, or just a sense of what you want the room to feel like.
From there, I create a digital sketch to set the direction. This is where we align on composition and colour before painting begins.
Once the sketch is approved, I move into the final piece and take it from there.
What to expect
Original, one-of-a-kind artwork
A clear, guided process
Creative direction handled by me
A finished piece that feels intentional and confident
You don’t need to manage the process or make constant decisions. That’s my job. I’ve got your covered.
What makes a great commission?
A great commission starts with a bit of trust and a shared sense of direction.
My best clients:
are drawn to my existing work
want something original, not a replica
care about how their space feels
are happy to let me lead creatively
If that sounds like you, we’ll work well together.
Size, materials, and pricing
I work with a mix of acrylics, oils, pastels, and pencil crayon to create layered, textured abstract pieces.
Paintings can be created on either canvas or wood panel, depending on the look you’re after.
Commissions begin at 24 × 24 inches, with pricing starting at $850 CAD. Larger works and custom sizes are priced based on scale and complexity.
If you’re unsure what size will work best, I’m happy to help you figure it out.
How long does the process take?
Most commissions are completed within four to six weeks once the sketch is approved.
If you’re working toward a specific deadline, let me know when you reach out and I’ll tell you what’s possible.
Receiving your artwork
Once your painting is complete, I’ll share final images for your review. The remaining balance is due before the piece is shipped or picked up.
Shipping and pickup
Paintings are shipped unframed unless we’ve discussed otherwise. Each piece is carefully packed to ensure it arrives safely.
Local pickup in Edmonton is available by appointment at no cost.
For shipped orders, shipping is calculated based on size and destination and billed separately.
Materials and finish
All work is created using professional-grade materials, including acrylics, oils, pastels, and pencil crayon, on either canvas or wood panel.
Each piece is finished with a protective varnish, signed, and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
A few things to know
Shipping & pickup
Local pickup in Edmonton is available by appointment and is always complimentary.
If your piece needs to be shipped, shipping costs are calculated based on size and destination and billed separately. I’ll share an estimate early on so there are no surprises.
Deposits & refunds
A 50% deposit is required to secure your spot in my commission schedule and to begin the design process.
Because each piece is created specifically for you, deposits are non-refundable, and commissions can’t be refunded once the sketch is approved and painting begins. That’s why the sketch stage is so important — it’s your chance to make sure everything feels right before moving forward.
Copyright
When you purchase a commissioned piece, you’re purchasing the physical artwork.
Copyright and reproduction rights remain with me, which allows me to share the work on my website and social channels. If you have a specific use in mind, feel free to ask.
Is this a good fit?
Commissions work best if you’re drawn to my existing style and are open to interpretation within it.
If you’re looking for realism, portrait work, or an exact reproduction of a reference image, this probably isn’t the right fit and that’s completely okay.
